Dr. Lidia Lae is the principal psychologist and ‘culture and self’ expert specialising in empowering individuals and organisations to achieve clarity, growth, and meaningful change. Drawing from her extensive background in clinical practice, leadership development, and organisational consulting, she combines her deep knowledge with an understanding of culture, personal identity, and learning to deliver tailored, evidence-based solutions.
Holding a PhD in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Educational and Developmental Psychology, along with formal teaching qualifications, Dr. Lae brings a unique perspective to her work. She is a member of both the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the American Psychological Association (APA), reflecting her dedication to professional excellence and her commitment to applying evidence-based practices. Her expertise spans psychological assessments, therapy, leadership training, and organisational development, helping clients bridge the gap between insight and action.
Dr. Lae’s professional journey spans diverse sectors, including corporate, academic, educational, and community settings. She has supported individuals with a wide range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, socio-emotional challenges, behavioural issues, and learning difficulties. Her therapeutic approach is both holistic and eclectic, integrating evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic approaches, narrative therapy, and solution-focused strategies to meet each client’s unique needs.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Lae is a sought-after consultant and speaker, equipping leaders and organisations with the tools to foster inclusive cultures, build emotional intelligence, and lead with authenticity. Her contributions to psychological research include publications in peer-reviewed journals and examiner roles for the WISC, WAIS and WMS AUS & NZ Standardisation Project, further demonstrating her expertise in the field.
